It calculates prayer times and the Qibla direction, guides you through structured programs such as Gentle Foundations for 40 days, and lets friends and family share a khatma, pursue goals together and send each other gentle encouragement. Suhba is private by default, shows no ads, and measures consistency with your own plan, never spiritual rank. ## Why “Suhba” *Ṣuḥba* means companionship: the company of people who remind you of Allah and help you stay on the path. Most of us know the good we want to do. What we lack is steadiness, and steadiness comes more easily with good companions. Suhba is built around a simple teaching of the Prophet ﷺ: the deeds most beloved to Allah are those done consistently, even if they are small.

So Suhba does not ask you to do more. It helps you keep up what you have chosen, one small deed at a time, with people who care about you. ## What Suhba does - **Prayer times and Qibla.** Prayer times are calculated on your phone, from your location or a city you choose, with the calculation method and Asr madhab you prefer. A calm compass points you to the Kaaba. - **Today.** One screen shows what comes next: the next prayer, your morning adhkar, a few pages of Qur’an. Record each one with a tap, even offline. Reminders follow your day. - **Guided programs.** Start a structured path such as **Gentle Foundations** for 40 days, or build your own. Suhba plans each day around your prayer times, and you choose the timing that suits you. - **Circles.** Walk with a small circle of friends or family that people join by invitation. You decide what each circle sees of your progress. - **Shared khatma.** Complete the Qur’an together: portions are shared out, and everyone in the circle sees its progress. - **Goals and missions.** Aim together for, say, 200 Fajr prayers or 1,000 pages as a circle, or join a mission with a personal target. - **Encouragements.** Send a companion a short, kind phrase, such as “You can do it”, that arrives as a notification. Encouragements are limited to two per person per day, and anyone can turn them off. - **Journey.** A private view of your daily history and your consistency, week after week, to reflect and adjust. - **Share cards.** Mark a milestone with a beautiful card in Islamic designs, with a verse or your own words, and share it from your phone. ## Our principles - **Private by default.** Your worship is yours. You choose who sees your profile, stats and activities, and what each circle sees. - **Consistency, not spiritual rank.** Suhba measures how well you keep your own plan. It never judges the value or acceptance of anyone’s worship. - **No public rankings.** Any comparison within a circle is opt-in. - **No ads, no tracking, no data selling.** Suhba is funded by subscriptions, not by your attention or your data. - **Calm, not addictive.** No endless feed and no attention traps: open the app, do the deed, get on with your day. - **Arabic first.** Suhba is designed in Arabic and English from the start, right to left, with calligraphy for verses and hadith. - **A tool, not a fatwa.** Suhba supports your practice. It does not give religious rulings, and prayer times should be checked against your local mosque. ## Languages The app is fully available in **English and Arabic**, with a right-to-left layout in Arabic and a choice of Arabic (١٢٣) or Latin (123) numerals.
