# Delete your Suhba account

> How to delete your Suhba account, in the app or by email without the app: what is deleted, what is kept and for how long, and how to cancel your subscription.

This page explains how to delete your account in **Suhba**, the app for prayer, Qur’an and adhkar with companions, published by the developer named at the top of this page. You can do it in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app.

## In short

- **In the app:** You → Delete account → Delete permanently. Your account is deleted immediately.
- **Without the app:** email [privacy@suhba.win](mailto:privacy@suhba.win?subject=Delete%20my%20Suhba%20account) from your account’s email address, with the subject “Delete my Suhba account”. We delete it within 30 days.
- **Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.** Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play (steps below).
- **If you own a circle,** transfer ownership to another member first, or the circle will be deleted for everyone.

## Delete your account in the app

1. Open Suhba and go to the **You** tab.
2. Scroll down and tap **Delete account**.
3. Tap **Delete permanently** to confirm.

You need an internet connection. Your account and the data linked to it on our servers are deleted immediately, and this cannot be undone. If you see “Could not delete account”, try again when you are online.

Before you delete your account, you may want to:

- **transfer ownership** of any circle you own (see [If you own a circle](#if-you-own-a-circle));
- **cancel your subscription** (see [Cancel your subscription](#cancel-your-subscription));
- **save a copy of your data** with You → **Export my data**.

## Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app, send an email:

- **To:** [privacy@suhba.win](mailto:privacy@suhba.win?subject=Delete%20my%20Suhba%20account)
- **From:** the email address of your Suhba account
- **Subject:** Delete my Suhba account
- **Message:** a line saying that you want your account deleted, and whether you signed in with Apple or Google.

We verify that the account is yours, delete it within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.

If you used Sign in with Apple and chose to hide your email, your account uses a private relay address. Write from the email address of your Apple Account and mention it in your message: we will confirm through the relay address, which Apple forwards to you.

## What is deleted

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. After a request by email, it is done within 30 days.

## What is kept, and for how long

- **Purchase records** are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, our subscription service provider, for as long as the law requires them (for example, for tax and accounting).
- **Your emails to us,** including your deletion request, are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and show that it was done.
- **Information the law requires us to preserve,** for example evidence linked to a child-safety report, is kept only for as long as required.
- **Data on your phone,** such as reflections, private notes, detailed history, your profile photo and prayer location, is not on our servers. It stays on your phone until you uninstall the app, which removes it.

## If you own a circle

If you are a circle’s owner (Super Admin), deleting your account deletes the circle and all its shared data — goals, khatma and encouragements — for every member.

To keep the circle going, transfer ownership first: open the circle, go to **Members**, tap **Manage** next to a member, then **Transfer ownership**. You will become an Admin, and you can then delete your account.

## Cancel your subscription

Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not stop payments. Cancel your subscription in the store you bought it from, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or free trial to avoid the next charge.

**On iPhone:**

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Tap **your name**, then **Subscriptions**.
3. Tap **Suhba**, then **Cancel Subscription**.

**On Android:**

1. Open **Google Play**.
2. Tap your **profile** icon, then **Payments & subscriptions**, then **Subscriptions**.
3. Tap **Suhba**, then **Cancel subscription**.

## Delete only some of your data

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove some data:

- **Leave a circle** you no longer want to be part of.
- **Delete programs** you created.
- **Clear reflections and notes** on your phone.
- **Make your profile, stats or activities private** in **Edit profile**, or choose to share nothing with a circle.
- **Remove your profile photo** in **Edit profile**.
