We aim to reply within 2 working days. - Privacy and your data: [privacy@suhba.win](mailto:privacy@suhba.win) - Safety reports: [safety@suhba.win](mailto:safety@suhba.win) ### What to include in your message - Your phone model and its system version (iOS or Android). - The app version, shown at the bottom of the **You** tab. - The language you use the app in. - What happened, what you expected, and the steps that lead to the problem. - A screenshot or screen recording, if it helps. - For prayer times: your city, your calculation method and Asr method, and the time you expected (for example, from your mosque’s timetable). If your message is about your account, write from the email address linked to it. We will never ask for your payment card details. ## Prayer times look wrong Prayer times are calculated on your phone, so a small setting usually explains the difference. Open **You → Prayer & Athan** and check: 1. **Location.** Make sure the city shown is where you are. Tap **Use current location**, or search for a city and set it. 2. **Calculation method.** Choose the method used by your local mosque or your country: Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority of Survey, University of Islamic Sciences (Karachi), Umm al-Qura (Makkah) or Islamic Society of North America. 3. **Asr method.** Choose Shafi or Hanafi. The Hanafi method gives a later Asr time. 4. **Time zone when traveling.** Check that your phone sets its time zone automatically. When Suhba detects a new time zone, it asks whether to use it: tap **Use new timezone**. Then update your location in Prayer & Athan. 5. **High-latitude rule.** If you live far north or south, where twilight can last all night in summer, try another high-latitude rule. 6. **Manual minute adjustments.** Fine-tune each prayer by a few minutes to match your local mosque. Prayer times are astronomical calculations. Please check them against your local mosque. ## Not receiving reminders - **Allow notifications.** If **You → Notifications** shows notifications as blocked, allow them in your phone’s settings: - iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Suhba → Allow Notifications. - Android: Settings → Apps → Suhba → Notifications. - **Turn on the reminders you want.** In **You → Notifications**, turn on activity reminders and prayer reminders. Choose which prayers alert you in **You → Prayer & Athan**. - **Send a test.** In **You → Notifications**, tap **Send a test reminder**. It arrives in 5 seconds. - **Focus and Do Not Disturb.** On iPhone, a Focus can silence Suhba: allow Suhba in that Focus, or turn it off. On Android, check Do Not Disturb. - **Battery optimization (Android).** Some Android phones stop apps in the background to save battery, which can delay reminders. Go to Settings → Apps → Suhba → Battery and choose **Unrestricted** (the names vary by manufacturer). - **After traveling or reinstalling,** open Suhba once so it can schedule your reminders again. Reminders are scheduled on your phone. - **Encouragements.** To receive encouragements from companions, check that **Receive encouragements from companions** is on in **You → Language**, in the Circles section. ## Subscription and restore purchases - **Restore purchases.** If you reinstall Suhba or change phones, open the subscription screen and tap **Restore purchases**. Make sure your phone is signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you subscribed with. - **Cancel.** On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Suhba. On Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Suhba. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. - **Refunds.** Payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are too: see [Refunds](/terms#5-refunds) in our Terms. - Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. ## Change language and numerals Open **You → Language**: - **Language:** English or Arabic. In Arabic, the app switches to a right-to-left layout. - **Numerals:** Arabic (١٢٣) or Latin (123). In the same place you can also change the appearance, the time format, the first day of the week and the calendar (Hijri, Gregorian or both). ## Export your data or delete your account - **Export:** **You → Export my data** saves the data on your phone as a JSON file. For a copy of the data on our servers, write to [privacy@suhba.win](mailto:privacy@suhba.win). - **Delete your account:** **You → Delete account**.
